Dyle Downing

Denison, Iowa (August 16, 1969) – Dyle Downing of Storm Lake won the A-main at the Crawford County Fairgrounds in Denison on Saturday evening.
Downing led from start to finish with Everett Hutchinson of Sac City taking second and Dennis Hovinga of Laurens coming in third.
Ken Braasch of Deloit won the B-main with George Peterson of Harlan finishing second. Braasch took the lead away from race-long leader Dick Street of Schleswig when he developed mechanical problems with only a few laps remaining.
Ev Hutchinson won the trophy dash over Dennis Hovinga and Monty Hansen of Harlan.
Loren Thies of Arthur, Hansen, and Hutchinson were heat winners.
