Mark Mosier accepts his trophy from promoter Dale Gegner after winning
the Mississippi Valley Speed Club feature at Mt. Pleasant.
Mt. Pleasant, Iowa (July 28, 1967) – Mark Mosier was way out front to take the checkered flag at the Henry County Fairgrounds on Friday night. The Mississippi Valley Speed Club points leader led all 20 laps.
Ron Hemsted of Lone Tree finished second with Stan Crooks of Muscatine. John Moss of Iowa City grabbed fourth and Ralph Ericson of Lockridge was fifth.
Heat wins went to Hemsted, Ericson, John Mullink of West Liberty, and Crooks. Doak Allen of Muscatine won the semi-main.
