Dick Hutcherson
Donnellson, Iowa (July 7, 1961) – Dick Hutcherson, Keokuk, warmed up for the Iowa International 300-lapper in Des Moines, by winning the 100-lap International Stock Car Association stock car feature at the Lee County Fairgrounds on Friday evening.
Most of the drivers competing in the 300-lap feature at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Sunday were at the Donnellson half mile, getting their cars finely tuned for the long-endurance race.Keokuk’s Ramo Stott, winner of the Iowa International last year, finished second, and defending IMCA champion Ernie Derr, also of Keokuk, placed third.
